When I got it back and tried using it I had zero-zip-nada low-end throttle response. I mean below 2000 rpm it would not outpull a bicycle. The more-radical-than-stock cam didn't help.1. Unless you are replacing an existing Holley® carburetor (which already has a lever extension arm), you may need to purchase and install a throttle lever extension (Holley® P/N 20-7) on the carburetor. Remove the throttle stud and nut from the original carburetor. You can purchase a new stud from your Holley® dealer (Holley® P/N 20-67).Aug 19, 2004 · Just use a big screwdriver and a wrench on the nut. Hold the wrench on the nut, and losen the screw. Take off the side plug on the bowl. Turn the nut until the fuel level just barely starts to trickle out of the side hole. Tighten the screw on top of the nut. Put the side plug back in. Thats it! The List number for a Model 2010, 2300, 4010, 4011, 4150, 4160, 4165, or 4175 carburetor can be found on the right side of choke air horn. The List number for the 4500 can be found on the top of the main body casting. Below the list number is a date code that will contain no more than four (4) digits. See Figures below.Begin the adjustment process by noting the idle vacuum level and engine idle speed. Then move the first idle mixture screw in–clockwise–a very small amount. We like to work with adjustments that are about the width of the screwdriver slot. This is a very small change. Note any change on the vacuum gauge and/or tach.

I ordered and received a marine Holley rebuild kit for my 4160 carburetor (list # 50419-1) from Summit. The kit came with all the correct gaskets, needles and seats, seals, etc,...
