I've never taken the standard shuttle so I don't know what that experience is like. However, the buses are all the same, the only big difference I see is that the premier shuttles will drop you off right at the entrance or next to the entrance where as the standard shuttles parks a bit further into the parking lot but still very close.

And a wait time ranging from like 1-30min, all in all an hour and some change to get back to your hotel without driving and having to deal with the traffic on the way out makes that hour and some change trip way worth it.
