There is no yellow that will guarantee an upgrade to those particular 2 weapons. Fist weapons. It won't "always" upgrade to those two, because there's a selection of 10 or so to roll. But it's possible to get primals this way. As others have said, ancient with 90-100% rolls on the correct stats (like 642/650 main stat) is the same as primal. So I'd highly suggest checking all ancients and stop with that item once you found near-perfect ancient. That way you can craft another item from captain crimson's with similar quality.

Primal Ancients are much rarer than Ancient items, which in turn are much rare than normal Legendary items. To put things into perspective, each Legendary drop after completing a level 70 Solo Greater Rift has a 10% chance to be an Ancient, and each Ancient has a 2.5% chance to be a Primal.

Yupp. There are rare occasions when an ancient or primal ancient P ring, opens a regular vault. Primal puzzle vault should have some added bonus over an ancient since it is significantly rarer. It would be cool if it was filled like the ancient vault, but all the goblins were flavor goblins instead of the plain ones.
