Volatile flow wont work if you have 3 weapon surges on. The max you can have is 2. Volatile flow doesn't work with Hard light or gravtion lance. But Echo of Instability (void fragments) works with Hard light and Gravtion lance. Other void weapons seem to have no issues activating volatile rounds.
