Excessive DEF usage - 2021 L5P. I haven't been here for awhile because my 2015 D'Max LML was pretty flawless. Well I now have a 2021 L5P and I absolutely love it, especially towing our 37' fifth wheel. Well, I love it all except for the amount of DEF it is using while towing. We recently completed a 2400 mile trip, of which 2000 was towing.I recently got a '17 L5P, ~83,000 miles. Let me preface by saying I have owned 12 diesels, (4) Powerstrokes, (2) Duramaxes, (5) Cummins and a Ecodiesel. I am not new to them. I struggle to get more then 15-15.5 mpg in this truck and its driving me nuts. Dash MPG's aren't even remotely close except for the 400+ mile range which is about 1 mpg high.

I would never consider a LML after owning a L5P. $1500 to delete a Cummins or LML. $7,000 to delete an L5P. $3,000 to convert from a CP4 to CP3 on the LML. $700+ to level the GMC/Chevy compared to $100 to level the Ram.
