No cam noise like some of the other cams out there.new would be my choice also. just make sure it has the same cam as the rushmore 103's, and twin cooled. that is as sweet as the twin cam engines ever got. good price, and it is new. the difference between rebuilt and new is simple. the rebuilt has already been worn out once. not a fair statement in part, but there is some wisdom there. also the price on an hd new is pretty ok.:smile
