I got past Jevil on the second try. The first time around, I admit it was a test run to see how well I do against him, and I did pretty well. I bought some good healing items and equipment from Rouxls Kaard, and while I did struggle, second time around, I beat him. As for Spamton NEO, I won first time around.

Git gud is the correct response. No one can make you better at dodging than you. Sure, I guess. But I play games to have fun, so I've decided not to even try beating him, at least for now. I like the rest of the game too, so maybe I'll play enough of it to git gud and then try later on. Video game player.
IDK if that makes sense. I beat Spamton in my first chapter 2 save (though I beat the game in the second slot, so I’ll have to go back and complete the game in the one where I beat him), but I never beat Jevil in chapter 1.
