My Security-9, was having an issue with the slide release - from the first day I used it. When I put a loaded magazine in, the slide would not release easily by pulling back and letting go as you normally do on semiautomatic pistols. It’s reverse-threaded, so turning it clockwise will loosen it. When I first inspected it, I found it was really hard to get the slide stop to set, but was told it would loosen up with firing, and slingshot worked fine.
