Lately it's been 2-3 times per mag which is pretty bad. I was shooting factory Blazer Brass 115's and 124's as well as my reloads and the problem persisted no matter what ammo I used.

Has anyone experienced the same issue ...After removing the firing pin and cleaning the channel. simply wipe the firing lightly with a cloth with a drop or two of oil on it. Oil collects dirt and that dirt will eventually gum up the firing pin. I'd pull the Security 9 apart and re clean the channel before I'd send it back to Ruger.

It seems I'm having this issue every time I strip the gun. It seems like the recoil spring pops out of the spot it sits on the barrel when I push the slide back to put the takedown pin back in. Because I lock the slide back, then release the slide and move it forward to remove the slide again, and it's already stuck.

Failures During Feeding and Extracting. Failure-to-Eject (FTE) and Failure-to-Feed (FTF) have been another issue with the Security-9.
