Bg3 slow loading.
Rebooted my computer twice. I still can't get the game to actually start. Go into steam settings > In game, and disable the steam overlay box. fixed the issue for me. So we wont be able to use mods! so sad! Made the huge mistake of updating for patch 5 and now I'm stuck watching the spinning circle spin at 100%.
Basically, the map, textures, models, etc, load WAAAAY to slow. Even the menu map takes ~3 minutes to fully load. It went trhough the Dog `n Pony Show of verifying the (deleted files) then immediately hung at 92% immediately. I am loving the game but GOG is on my last fucking nerve, HELP!

Since I’ve bought the game the loading times have been quite excessive, eusually always taking close to 5 minutes to simply open the game and always super slow in loading in new areas whenever tp’ing or whatever. So it's about 24% longer for me on HDD vs SSD.
