First ability - Tempest Barrage: Remove the ability to hold cast it, and increase damage. When cast above undertow, every projectile deals damage to all enemies caught within.Hydroid will now be able to shoot into the puddle for the enemies that remain in there. curative undertow hydroid gains the same benifits as allies now. Health over time augment to fit the ability change. Will restore shields if health is full. Tentacle swarm - now a drain ability with low energy cost.

Zephyr, if only because shes truly made of paper in comparison now. With his rework, Hydroid is at least somewhat tanky now, and wont die to a single random bullet until you get to absurd levels. Hydroid's rework also maintained his core weakness and, arguably emphasized it. Namely that hydroid is very dependent on high enemy density. Expensive AOEs that are only cost effective when hitting multiple targets and plunder which does not stack and literally scales with the number of victims. Yea Hydroid needs a rework most out of every single frame in the game. Inaros, Loki and Nyx are flawed, but at least they function well in the areas they're supposed to. That's a good point. Even though Hydroid does improve with this rework in some ways, he won't be able to compete with the other armor strip frames. Armor strip works even on eximus enemies for the other warframes.
