I have the hoses attached to the tranny. But all my plastic tips have had the little top hat/check valve missing or broken. I'm blowing a bit of ATF when hot and it appears my AW4 isn't vented because I'm missing the vent tube adapter and there is no vent hose from the top of the transmission. I have tried to beat AW-4s into submission without luck, including towing 6,000+ lb. trailers (and not gently!) and just plain being dumb.
