If you don’t extend your contact with your team half way through your first season, you have to pick a contract from an NFL team at the end of the year during the resign period. Then you can go to your position of choice and load it manually and that stupid position change issue shouldnt occur.

Requesting a trade from management will not be possible because there aren’t any options available for it on any of the menus or dialogs.
