I have a 1973 Chevy truck with the NP205 gear driven transfer case. My original 1973 manual says to fill it with 80w gear oil. I have a th350 trans and a np205 transfer case. I have replaced the 2 seals in the adapter in last month twice and I'm still getting transmission fluid in the t case. I'm still running the factory motor mounts and factory crossmember for the transfer case so it's not at any crazy angle.
