The proper throttle body relearn is done with either the dealers scan tool, or some other bi-directional scan tool that supports it, or an android app like alfaobd or jscan. Without that, there's a couple of things you can try. I loosened the 12mm bolt holding the bracket to give me more clearance removing the TB. IThe connector is rather simple, push the tabs on either side and wiggle it free. Then reverse to install. The next steps I performed were to reset the pcm.After about 30 seconds I started back up. The TB and ESC lights were off, but the MIL was still on. Drove fine the rest of the way home. When I got home I checked the codes and only had the P2173. I immediately thought "throttle body", but after reading up on that code I'm thinking more like MAP or Throttle Position sensor.
