Now to wire gauge the positve goes to ground on the tractor. The negative should go to the wire that is connected to ignition switch. J.D. built the 4020 and needed a bigger tractor so they built the 4520 in 1969 and 1970 they turbocharged the 404 and made other improvements to handle the extra horsepower.

When this tractor was evening used daily we never had any trouble with the steering. Now that it only gets used very little we have steering trouble. Is this problem in the steering column or would it be in the pump?
