Mathews phase 4 vs hoyt vtm.
The difference in weight is noticeable. The phase 4 feels like a tank. I also think the Phase 4 is smoother to draw with less of a dump. Not that the Lift is bad, it's just more noticeable. The phase 4 is also more "jumpy" on the release despite the weight difference. It feels violent compare to the lift.
The reason I ask is that the Mathews have been coming in pretty heavy vs what mod they have on. 3 - 4 lbs over isn't uncommon. You can't give a company a pat on the back for making big changes when they're still behind competitors. Mathews, Hoyt, and Bowtech are just above the others. Apples to apples.
