Sep 3, 2021 · It would handle better with a stock! Cheaper to buy a 500 and have the barrel cut than to start with a shockwave. I have had zero issues with either 2-3/4” or 1-3/4” using the birds head grip. The recoil is negligible, and the Crimson Trace laser saddle makes aiming accurately a snap from any position. And it fits in a backpack.
