BOTW is better in Cemu, it’s a weird edge case that will always run better. That said, yes, BOTW has been improved massively over the last few months and now works with the Vulkan renderer which is much faster. Keep in mind that BOTW in Yuzu lacks all of the frame rate and graphics adjustments you can get in Cemu.

Improve Yuzu performance. I installed Yuzu via Emudeck (using the latest AppImage) but the games I tried (Mario Strikers, Zelda Link's Awakening) run only with 10-20 FPS. Emudeck told me to only activate 4 CPU cores via Power Tools plugin but that did not noticeably improve the performance.

To make syncthing able to sync files like Minecraft worlds and Yuzu saves, create a symlink in the program's folder so that the saves are put outside of ~/.var. The addition of the scaling feature helps as games that do not run well on Deck can be toned down. The current "meta game" for great performance is either 0.50x or 0.75x render scale docked + FSR. Ryujinx is quite as robust so if a game does not run well, you are out of luck. I would actually have both installed. The Steam Deck controller settings can combine or split the Joycons if you want. For Yuzu, you need to go to controller config and switch it off of Steam Virtual Gamepad. You'll notice there's an option for Both Joycons when you have L and R connected, click that.
